How to Play

The Goal

Every vault wall has 4 empty niches. Find the right relic for each niche, in the right order, to unlock it.

Placing Relics

Select a relic from the tray at the bottom, then click a niche to place it. Click a filled niche with nothing selected to remove it, or hit Clear to empty all four at once.

Testing a Pattern

Careful Check tests your arrangement while raising the wall's Instability a little. Bold Insight tests it too, but raises Instability more — in exchange, if you have any exact matches, it reveals the position of all of them.

Reading the Result

Exact = that relic is in the correct niche. Near = that relic belongs somewhere in the solution, just not where you placed it.

Instability & Attempts

Instability rises with every check. If it reaches Collapse, or you run out of your 7 attempts, the wall resets to a brand new pattern.

Solving the Vault

Get all 4 Exact to open the vault. You'll receive a treasure for that location, added to your Museum collection.
